Our goal is to provide new opportunities and choices for people who, through the passage of time or simply because life happens, have lost the motivation and ability to connect and engage with life in ways they would like.
Our immersive and virtual reality physical experiences enable connections and communities to form, providing new opportunities and choices to discover places and feats of unwitting exercise many thought were beyond their reach.
- Charles King, CEO
At Motus VR, we've assembled a dedicated team merging patient, resident, carer, and family feedback with clinician insights and virtual reality expertise. We have sought advice from a consultant physiotherapist, a consultant musculoskeletal surgeon, social care commissioners, and, crucially, multiple physios and occupational therapists input. We continue to work with Movement Science experts to devise experiences that motivate cognitive, emotional, and physical exercise - all three being crucial to overall well-being.
Our collaborative and co-development approach has enabled us to craft groundbreaking patient care solutions while broadening horizons and improving interest for carers and medical professionals, groups sometimes forgotten in this two-sided equation. Our commitment is to advancing healthcare through virtual reality therapeutics. Beyond crafting VR experiences, we lead in research and innovation. All our products are plug-and-play and are accessible to all ages and abilities without needing any technical knowledge.
Our Approach:
Quality, innovation, collaboration, and co-development fuel our approach. By partnering closely with healthcare experts and gathering feedback from carers, patients, residents, and families, we customise VR solutions to real-world needs. Seamlessly integrating into healthcare workflows ensures efficient adoption that's easy and rewarding.
Why VR for Healthcare:
Virtual Reality is revolutionising healthcare by managing pain, reducing anxiety, and expediting rehabilitation in safe and secure environments. Our VR solutions provide healthcare professionals with interesting and adaptable ways to enhance patient care, rebuild ambulation in deconditioned patients, and conquer feelings of boredom, loneliness, and helplessness by infusing spontaneity, social companionship and stimulating conversation. In too many instances, families and friends feel helpless, limited by work, or perhaps parental responsibilities, and yet our technologies open ways for their inclusion.
